I hope that as students of Lubavitch you will always remember that you must be "lights to shed light" — brightly burning lights who must also kindle and illuminate others. You have the additional obligation to disseminate the light of Torah and mitzvot with enthusiasm and liveliness as commanded by the precept, "Love your fellow as yourself."

(Likkutei Sichos Vol. 13, pg. 191)

Instead of hearing it from us, listen to our students

share their firsthand experiences

Sara (Owings mills),
you sound excited when you talk about your studies.
What make it so special?

We’re lucky to have the best teachers in town! Each one is an expert in their field and truly cares about our success. We learn many different subjects, and our teachers work hard to make every class engaging and enjoyable.

Learning isn’t just about tests—there are also fun and creative assignments that help us understand the material in different ways. Plus, our teachers support each student at their own level, making sure everyone can learn, improve, and succeed at their own pace.

Leah (Rome, Italy),
we heard that you have very active after school programs in the dorm.
Can you tell us about it?

Miriam ( Little Rock, AR),
what makes your school special?

It’s a small school where all the girls get to know each other well, and no one feels forgotten or left out. Classes are smaller, making it easier to stay focused and get the attention needed to understand the material better.

Our school truly cares about us and our well-being. We know they want us to succeed and be happy. We feel heard and valued.

We also have great extra-curricular programs, including fun shabbatons, farbrengens, in-school programs, trips, and more.

We are fortunate to be part of a program where we are deeply cared for by our Eim Bayis and Chaya, the Madricha. They ensure we feel supported and valued. Our program offers a wide variety of thoughtfully planned activities. On Sundays, we go on trips and enjoy fun activities, and even when we’re just in the dorm, we have a great time together.  For Shabbos, we have the opportunity to visit local shluchim, which is always a meaningful and uplifting experience. Our dorm is small and very clean, making it feel warm and comfortable. It’s a quiet place, so it’s easy to focus on homework or simply relax after school. We also have cozy common areas where we can sit, talk, and enjoy each other’s company.

"A school where teachers not only teach with passion but also deeply care for their students—that’s what we’ve found at CGHS. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at the school, which has greatly eased the challenges of living away from home. The way CGHS brings Chassidishe Yomim Tovim and Yomei D’Pagra to life, not just through educators but also through student involvement, is remarkable. The warm, inviting environment, clean facilities, and exciting extracurricular activities make the school a place where students eagerly participate. The well-developed curriculum and engaging atmosphere curated by the school administration are truly special. This has contributed to a very successful and smooth transition for our daughter in her high school journey."

Being a CGHS student means excelling in uncompromising academic standards in both Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol, while always knowing that your happiness and confidence are the staff’s top priority.

It  means being part of a family—while still feeling uniquely valued, as if you were the only daughter.

It means embracing your talents through dynamic Bnos Chabad and extra curricular and bringing depth and sincerity to your learning, whether in the classroom or  farbrengens.

It means being surrounded by a Chassidishe atmosphere, rooted in unwavering יראת שמיים, מידות טובות and deep connection to the Rebbe.

I invite you to get to know our school—a true gem in the warm chassidishe community of Baltimore.

At CGHS, our mission is to nurture young women who are proud and confident in their Chassidishe identity, ready to live meaningful lives and inspire future generations.
